Four on the 4th features a 4-mile race and a 1-mile walk/run in York, Maine. The 4-mile race starts at 7:30 a.m. on July 4th, 2026, with bib and shirt pickup at York High School from 6:30 a.m. to 7:25 a.m. that morning. The 1-mile walk/run begins at 4:30 p.m. on July 3rd, with early bib pickup available July 3rd from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Registration opens February 1st at 8:00 a.m. and closes July 1st at 11:59 p.m. or when the 1,000-participant limit is reached. Those registered by June 1st receive a guaranteed race shirt; later registrants receive shirts as available. The 1-mile event costs $12; registrants for the 4-mile race receive free entry to the 1-mile event.
