The Freedom For Fighters 9th Annual Event to End Silent Suffering takes place in Mountain Home, Idaho on June 13, 2026. Participants can choose between a 3.1-mile or 7-mile walk or run. The event supports those affected by PTSD and depression, with proceeds benefiting charitable organizations serving veterans, first responders, and abuse victims, as well as toward construction of a healing ranch. Participants may bring a backpack and canned goods to carry at the start, with designated checkpoints along the course where weights are removed, allowing runners to finish the final quarter-mile unencumbered. Limited backpacks and canned goods are available at the starting line for those unable to provide their own.
