About the race
The race.
The Friends of the Poor 5K takes place on October 3, 2026, in New Ipswich, NH, with all proceeds benefiting the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to support local families in need. The 5K course welcomes runners and walkers of all ages. Participants who register at least two weeks in advance receive a long sleeve wicking shirt (runners) or free T-shirt (walkers). Raffle prizes are available to participants who stay after the race. Sponsor pledge donations are accepted to support the fundraising effort.
