About the race
The race.
The Jersey Shore Running Club hosts this 6-mile trail race on November 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Cheesequake State Park in Matawan, NJ. Race-day registration and bib/shirt pickup begin at 9:30 AM; no advance registration is available. The course is a trail run starting and finishing at the park pavilion by the lake. Awards go to the top three overall finishers and age-group winners in male and female categories, plus additional fun awards and raffle prizes. A post-race party includes free beer and pizza; soft drinks and snacks are also available. Proceeds benefit the Matawan/Aberdeen First Aid Squad and Bayshore EMS.
