About the race

The race.

The Healthy Kids Running Series Spring 2026 event in Newton Highlands, MA on May 17 features age-grouped races for elementary through high school runners. Fourth and fifth graders and sixth to eighth graders each run 1 mile, while high school participants run 2 miles. Registration for the five-week series includes race bibs, a runner shirt, a finisher medal, and sponsor giveaways. All participants receive medals, with trophies awarded to top finishers in each division by gender. Single-day race registration opens one hour before each event at the race location.
