About the race
The race.
The RACE Cancer Foundation hosts the 8th annual Oktoberfest Road Race on September 19, 2026, at Mighty Squirrel in Waltham, Massachusetts. Participants can register for a 5K distance. Volunteers assist with packet pickup, setup, registration, bag check, water stations, course marshaling, medals and awards, and cleanup. All volunteers receive free admission to the after-party and two drink tickets. The race is followed by an event at Mighty Squirrel's outdoor biergarten and taproom.
