About the race

The race.

Jazz-Sauk Valley Running Camp offers overnight training sessions for middle school and high school runners (grades 6-12) at Sauk Valley Resort in Brooklyn, Michigan. Session 1 runs June 28–July 1, 2026, with a second session July 12–15. The camp is limited to 60 participants per session and uses trails, gravel roads, and varied terrain for training. Instruction covers form drills, core and mobility work, dynamic stretching, and mental preparation led by coaches including Olympic Trial qualifiers and former University of Michigan staff. Early registration costs $450 (through April 30); late registration is $500. The first 25 registrants receive a camp hoodie.
