The race.
The Churn & Burn 5K Run/Walk takes place on June 12, 2026, in Markesan, Wisconsin. Participants may walk or run the 5K distance, and leashed dogs are permitted. Registration costs $30 through May 15th, $35 from May 16th through June 5th, and $40 from June 6th through race day; registration closes at 5:30 p.m. on race day. Those registering by May 26th receive a race t-shirt. First and second place awards are given in men's and women's age categories, with the awards ceremony held immediately after the race concludes.
