About the race

The race.

La Fiorentina Pastry Shop hosts a cannoli eating contest on Saturday, July 11, 2026, as part of the Springfield Italian Feast in Springfield, MA, marking the shop's 80th anniversary. Three competition divisions are offered: Kids (ages 8–14), Adults (15+), and Celebrity & VIP (local personalities and invited guests). Winners receive prizes, with the Kids Champion earning $100 and the Adult Champion earning $1,000. Registration is limited to 12 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. All proceeds benefit the Sons & Daughters of Italy Youth Group. Cannoli contain hazelnuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, wheat, and soy, and are produced in a facility processing fish and shellfish; participants with allergies should not enter.
