This Level I Coaching Certification course takes place July 25–26, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, as an in-person seminar. The program runs 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days with lunch provided daily. Day One covers coaching principles, periodized training program design, exercise physiology, and running form. Day Two addresses coaching business practices, sports psychology, nutrition, injury recognition and prevention, environmental performance factors, and group program development. The course includes pre-course webinar preparation, hard-copy course materials, small-group exercises, and discussion opportunities. Registration is capped at 35 participants. Attendees must provide current CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days after the course and complete an online open-book exam (minimum score 85/100) within 30 days. Full attendance and participation is required for certification.
