Mahoning Valley Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk 2026

The race.

Mahoning Valley Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1 hosts a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk on September 12, 2026, in Lehighton, PA. Two 5K options start at 9:00 AM (asphalt road course) and 9:05 AM (offroad trail course over grass, dirt, and wooded paths), with a 1 Mile community walk beginning at 9:10 AM on a closed, fairly flat asphalt road. A 4K option and virtual 5K are also available. Preregistrants by September 1st receive a t-shirt and swag bag; registration is $25 before the deadline and $30 afterward. Children 13 and under run or walk free or by donation. Overall male and female winners plus age-bracket awards are announced immediately after the race. The event includes chip timing, photography, and concurrent activities such as a country BBQ, cornhole tournament, basket raffle, games, and music.
