About the race
The race.
The MD Band Wildcat 5K is a 5-kilometer run/walk benefiting the Mater Dei Marching Band. The course starts and finishes at Lamasco Park in Evansville, Indiana, and follows an out-and-back route incorporating the Greenway Passage. Participants registered by May 31, 2026, are guaranteed a t-shirt. Awards are given to top male and female overall finishers and in age categories: 1–17, 18–29, 30–49, and 50+. Students 18 and under receive a $5 registration discount, and children 5 and under may attend free without registration or t-shirt.
