The race.
The Summer Solstice 5K takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Montgomery Whitewater in Montgomery, Alabama. The 5K course runs through the Montgomery Whitewater grounds, with the race starting at 9:00 AM from the Main Breezeway Entry. Early packet pickup is available Friday, June 19 from 3:00–6:00 PM, with late pickup on race day beginning at 8:00 AM. Participants who register by June 8 receive an event race T-shirt. Awards are given to overall top finishers by gender and first-place finishers in five-year age group divisions for both men and women. Post-race activities include Breakfast of the Champions at Eddy's Restaurant and Bar starting at 10:00 AM and family activities at the Kids Lot beginning at 10:30 AM, featuring tie-dye stations and flower crown making.
