About the race

The race.

Open water swimming clinics hosted by Finish Line Productions on June 27 and July 25, 2026, at Cowell Beach in Santa Cruz, CA. Clinic 1 (June 27) covers basic open water skills for swimmers new to or rusty in open water conditions, limited to 25 participants; Clinic 2 (July 25) focuses on intermediate skills and longer-distance swimming. Participants must be able to swim 100 yards freestyle. Both clinics are USA Triathlon sanctioned and require a one-day USAT license or annual membership. Cost is $50 per clinic, with 10% discount for registering both.
