About the race
The race.
Participants can run or walk 1 or 2 miles through Centennial Park in Orland Park on July 3, 2026. All participants receive a dri-fit shirt, USA hand flag, one free admission pass to Centennial Park Aquatic Center (valid July 5–8), post-race refreshments, and raffle entry. Awards go to top overall male and female finishers and top three in each age group (9U through 70+). Race packets are available for pickup June 28–July 3 at Human Race, with onsite registration and pickup beginning at 5:30 p.m. on race day. Proceeds benefit local veterans organizations. A free 50-yard kids dash with medals for all participants begins at approximately 7:30 p.m.
