The race.
The Pineland Striders Independence Day Races take place on June 27, 2026, in Medford, NJ, offering a 10K, 5K, and quarter-mile kids' fun run, all chip-timed and USATF-sanctioned. The 10K begins at 8:15 a.m. and the 5K at 8:30 a.m., with both courses entirely on pavement and featuring on-course hydration; strollers are permitted. The first 300 registrants for the 10K and 5K receive a car seat cover towel in blue or red (color choice at bib pickup). Race-day registration opens at 7 a.m., with pre-registration closing June 24. Awards go to top finishers overall and across age groups from under 15 through 70 and older. Proceeds support two Shawnee High School athletic scholarships and the South Jersey Food Bank, which also accepts non-perishable food donations at the event.
