The race.
The Ray Barrus Memorial race offers a 1-mile option for children ages 12 and under starting at 7:00 AM, and a 5K for all ages starting at 7:30 AM on July 4, 2026, in Grantsville, Utah. Participants must arrive by 6:30 AM for race bib pickup. The course begins near the tennis courts and follows city streets including Quirk, Durfee, West, Cherry, Hale, and Main, finishing at Grantsville High School. Registration includes a race shirt: $20 for the kids 1-mile, $25 for the 5K, $80 for a family package of four, or $35 day-of per participant.
