Run for the Rose 5K 2026

The race.

Run for the Rose 5K takes place May 16, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Lindsay Pettus Greenway—Comporium Nature Pavilion in Lancaster, SC. The 3.1-mile race follows a boardwalk and concrete pathway along Gills Creek, looping through a local school area before returning to the start/finish line. An untimed fun run option, Romp for the Rose, is also available. Proceeds benefit United Way of Lancaster County's programs in health, youth opportunity, financial security, and community resiliency. Participants may register by April 30 to guarantee an adult t-shirt. Awards are given to first and second place overall finishers (male and female) and age group winners across nine divisions from age 13 and under through 70 and older. Packet pickup is available Friday, May 15, from 4:30–6:00 p.m. or race morning starting at 7:30 a.m.
