The race.
Run The Runway 5K takes place on Saturday, June 20th at Danville-Boyle County Airport in Danville, Kentucky, with the 5K race starting at 8:00am EST. The course runs on the airport runways at Stuart Powell Field. Registration fees range from $20 for early bird (deadline March 20) to $35 for day-of registration, with a virtual option available for $30. Awards are given to overall fastest finishers and top three finishers in each age group from 12 & under through 65 & above. Proceeds benefit Dream Flight Charities, which supports aviation education and STEM programs for Kentucky students through discovery flights, scholarships, and mobile camps.
