The race.
Run Wild Races XIII: Sloth Run takes place October 17, 2026, at the Metro Richmond Zoo in Moseley, Virginia. Participants can choose from five distances: 1 mile, 2 miles, 5K, 6K, and 10K. The course runs through the zoo grounds where runners may encounter rhinos, zebras, cheetahs, and other animals. All race finishers receive free zoo admission for race day, and spectators accompanying participants receive 10% off zoo admission tickets.
