About the race
The race.
Sierra's 5K Run/Walk Race Against Meningitis takes place June 20, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado. The main 5K covers 3.1 miles and includes a separate Kids Fun Run for children 10 and under. All participants receive a race bib and cotton shirt (tech shirt option available for the 5K). The first 750 registered runners receive a Chick-fil-A meal, and all participants get a DQ coupon and free meningitis vaccination. Adults 21 and older also receive free beer at AKA. The event benefits meningitis awareness and vaccination access.
