About the race

The race.

Singletrack Flyers is a youth mountain biking program running weekly Monday evenings from June 8 through July 27, 2026, in Copper Harbor, Michigan. Participants are divided into skill-based groups: Striders (parent-child program for balance and foundational skills on strider bikes), Early Riders, Little Rippers, and Rippers, each led by adult coaches including certified cycling instructors. The first six sessions meet at MTU Tech Trails trailhead; the final two sessions (July 20 and 27) are held at Swedetown Trails. Children under 13 ride free at Michigan Tech trails; those 13 and older and adults need a trail pass, available daily at the trailhead or through seasonal/yearly passes at the Nordic Club office or SDC ticket office.
