Staplehurst Volunteer Fire Department 5K Beer Costume Run 2026

The race.

The Staplehurst Volunteer Fire Department hosts a 5K on October 31, 2026, beginning at 7:30 AM in front of the fire department in Staplehurst, Nebraska. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. The race format involves drinking beer at designated points during the course: one beer at the start, one at the turnaround, and one before the finish line. Non-alcoholic carbonated water is available for those under 21 or who prefer not to drink alcohol. Lineup begins at 7:00 AM. Proceeds benefit the local volunteer fire department.
