Stone Harbor Triathlon Swim Clinic 2026

Wetsuits are not required, but recommended if you plan on using one during the 27th Annual Stone Harbor Triathlon race on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The swim clinic will run for 75-90 minutes and open to the first 25 participants!

Swim Clinic Schedule:

The session will cover: · Introduction – Dryland · Dealing with stress – Dryland · Staying afloat, treading water and swimming in a wetsuit – In-water · Triathlon in-water start – In-water · Position in the pack/ Drafting – Dryland and in-water · Sighting and keeping on course – Dryland and in-water · Turning at buoys – Dryland and in-water · Stroke tips and injury prevention – Dryland and in-water · Closing remarks.

Participants will be under the supervision of a trained Ocean Lifeguard and other support staff.

While the swim clinic will be held in the very same calm Stone Harbor Yacht Club lagoon race-course, each swim clinic participant will sign a waiver, acknowledging the inherent danger of swimming in ‘open water’. This swim clinic is not intended for first-time swimmers or those not capable of independent swim, treading water and floating function safety!
