The race.
The Surf & Sand 5K takes place on November 7, 2026, on Anna Maria Island in Holmes Beach, Florida. Participants can choose among three divisions: a paddleboard course across coastal waters, a beach run along the shoreline, or the Surf & Sand Challenge combining both events. Paddleboards must be brought by participants, though a limited rental supply is available through a partnership with AMI Paddle Boards. Proceeds support local sea turtle conservation efforts. The event includes a referral program offering $20 credit for every four participants registered through a shared link.
