The Arc of Northern Virginia Community Challenge takes place June 6, 2026, in Fairfax Station, VA, at Burke Lake Park (Shelter C, 7315 Ox Road). Event distances include a 5K run, 3.1-mile run, 2K walk, 4.97-mile run, and virtual 5K and distance walk options. The 5K course is out-and-back on partially paved and partially dirt paths with mildly rolling terrain, returning to Shelter C for post-race food, music, and awards. Top-five overall finishers and top-two age-group finishers (under 15 through 70+) receive Amazon gift cards. The 2K walk is non-competitive, pet and family-friendly, on paved road. All preregistered participants receive race bibs, and results are chip-timed and posted by NoVA Race Timing. Proceeds benefit The Arc of Northern Virginia's programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
