The race.
The COOL RUN 5K at MIDNIGHT takes place on June 19, 2026, in downtown Somerset, Kentucky. The 3.1-mile out-and-back course starts and finishes at the Judicial Center. Race day registration and packet pickup begin at 10:30 pm on the evening of the event. Early registration by June 5 guarantees a t-shirt; walkers are welcome. Awards go to the top three overall finishers by gender, top three finishers in nine age groups ranging from 10 and under through 70 and over, and top three teams.
