Tidewater Striders Duathlon 2026

The race.

The Tidewater Striders Duathlon takes place June 20, 2026, in Chesapeake, VA, at Dismal Swamp Trail Park on a closed two-lane out-and-back course. The Sprint Duathlon includes a 2-mile run, 12.4-mile bike, and 2-mile run, starting at 7:30 AM with a 3-hour time limit; a Novice Sprint covers the same distances for multi-sport beginners with fewer than four prior events. The Kids Mini Duathlon features a 1-mile run, 5-mile bike, and half-mile run, starting at 9:15 AM with a 2-hour time limit. All finishers receive race shirts and medals, with awards for top-three overall male and female finishers, masters competitors, and age-group winners across multiple divisions. Two aid stations provide water and Gatorade, and post-race refreshments and an awards ceremony follow. Registration closes June 19 at 9 PM; early packet pickup is available Friday 3–6 PM, with race-day pickup starting at 6 AM.
