Tri Star Triathlons & Duathlons offers sprint and Olympic distance triathlon and duathlon options on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Sprint triathlon includes a 300-yard swim, 11.5-mile bike, and 3.1-mile run; Olympic triathlon features a 1500-yard swim, 25-mile bike, and 6.2-mile run. Sprint duathlon consists of a 2-mile run, 11.5-mile bike, and 3.1-mile run, while Olympic duathlon includes a 2-mile run, 25-mile bike, and 6.2-mile run. Aquabike options at both distances are also available. The swim takes place in the Tennessee River, with the bike course along Riverside Drive through East Knoxville and the run on the greenway past Volunteer Landing. Packet pickup and transition open at 5:30 a.m., with sprint racing starting at 7:00 a.m. and Olympic racing at 7:15 a.m. Awards ceremonies occur at 9:00 a.m. for sprint and 10:30 a.m. for Olympic distances. Parking is available at Ned McWherter Park and an adjacent overflow lot.
