The race.
The Washington Police Explorers Post 2438 hosts a 5K run on May 16, 2026, in Washington, Missouri. Proceeds support sending youth explorers to the St. Louis Area Law Enforcement Explorer Academy. Packet pickup runs from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. on race day at the Washington Riverfront, where the out-and-back course travels east on the trail. All registrants receive a finisher medal and T-shirt if registered by April 26; later registrations receive the medal only. Awards go to the top three male and top three female finishers. The race is chip-timed by Affordable Race Timing.
