The race.
Winter Runderland takes place in Long Beach, California on Sunday, December 13, 2026, featuring a 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, plus a Kids Dash. The half marathon starts at 7:00 AM and the 5K and 10K start at 8:00 AM, with bib pickup from 6:00 AM to 7:35 AM. The race begins and finishes at 5000 E Ocean Blvd. All finishers receive a custom holiday medal, and the event includes water and electrolyte stations every 2 miles, finish-line snacks with hot cocoa and candy canes, free race day photos, age-group and overall awards, and a festive costume contest. A DJ performs holiday music at the finish line festival, and the course is USATF-certified and professionally chip-timed.
