YMCA Youth Triathlon 2026

The race.

The YMCA Youth Triathlon takes place October 18, 2026, at the Citrus Memorial Health Foundation YMCA in Lecanto, FL. Children ages 5–15 compete in swim-bike-run events across two age divisions: Junior (ages 10–15) with a 100-yard swim, 1.5-mile bike, and 0.5-mile run, and Senior (ages 11–15) with a 200-yard swim, 3-mile bike, and 1-mile run. Mandatory packet pickup and bike check-in occur October 17 from 3–6 p.m., with Senior races starting at 8 a.m. and Junior races at 10 a.m. on race day. All finishers receive a medal and t-shirt; top three finishers in each age group earn trophies. A non-competitive Tri4Fun division for families and mixed-age groups starts at 10:30 a.m. and covers the Junior course distance. Early bird registration closes June 28.
