How to get your race photos

How do I find my race photos?

There are three ways, and they work best together.

• Selfie search. Where event, account, consent, age, and jurisdiction gates allow it, a one-time selfie search can compare your face with eligible event photos. Cross-event selfie search is a separate limited-release feature.
• Bib number. Enter your number on the race page. Fast and exact when your bib is visible and facing the camera, and offered on races where the organizer has switched it on.
• Your gallery. Once a photo has been matched to you, it appears in your account whether or not you went looking for it.

Use the search methods offered on the event page; availability varies by event and jurisdiction.

How long after the race do photos appear?

Timing varies by event. The photographer shoots the race, uploads afterwards, matching runs against eligible uploads, and the organizer releases the gallery. Check the event page for published coverage and return later if the gallery is still being prepared.

Are any of my photos free?

It depends on the event and its published inventory. Some organizers or sponsors fund an effective-free gallery, while other galleries sell individual photos or bundles. A free gallery may deliver a clean full-resolution file when that derivative is available; otherwise the interface can fall back to the eligible watermarked asset.

Why can I not find any photos of me?

Work through this in order:

1. Check the race was covered at all. Not every race has a photographer, and the race page says.
2. Check the timing, as above.
3. Try the other search method. If bib search found nothing, use selfie search, and the other way round.
4. Check you are looking at the right race if you ran more than one.

Matching genuinely misses some shots: an obscured bib, a turned head, deep shadow, or you being small in the frame. Using both bib and selfie search catches most of what one alone misses.

Which races does PodiumBase watch for me?

You can check whether a specific race is covered in the race directory. When cross-event search is enabled for your eligible account, consent, age, and jurisdiction, its page explains which supported events it can search; otherwise, use the event's gallery, bib filter, or one-time selfie option where offered.
