Registering a group for a race
Entering several runners in one go, paying together, and what happens if something fails partway.

Can I register several people at once?
Yes, on races that have group registration turned on. You add each runner in turn, give their details, and pay for everyone with one card.
Each runner still needs their own details: name, date of birth, gender, and an emergency contact name and phone. You cannot copy one runner's details across the group, because organizers need real per-runner data for age-group results and for safety.
How does paying for a group work?
Spots for the whole group are reserved first, then you pay once for all of them. While that runs, keep the page open. It takes a few seconds, and if you close it before paying, the held spots are released again shortly afterwards and you start over.
If your card is declined, no one in the group is charged. The whole group succeeds or the whole group fails, so you never end up with three of five runners entered and a bill for all five.
What if a distance sells out while I am filling the form?
You will be told that one of the distances just sold out, and you can adjust that runner and try again. Nobody is charged when this happens. Reserving spots comes before payment for exactly this reason.
Can I use a discount code for the group?
Yes, if the organizer's code allows it. Group codes are checked against the whole group rather than one entry, so a code with a minimum spend may qualify for a group where it would not for a single runner. If it is rejected, the message will say the code could not be applied to this group.
