About the race
The race.
The 17th Annual Peter De Mott Peace Trot takes place June 21, 2026, in Ithaca, NY, organized by the Ithaca Catholic Worker. Participants can choose between a 5K or 1-mile distance. Registration opens at 7:30 am with the race starting at 9:00 am at Cass Park marina. The suggested registration fee is $35 ($45 on race day), or participants can raise $100 or more in sponsorships to waive the fee. All participants receive a commemorative t-shirt, and age group winners select prizes of their choosing. Refreshments are provided after the event.
