WMBA of COS hosts a group mountain bike ride on August 13, 2026, at Palmer Park in Colorado Springs. The event offers Beginner, BegIntermediate, and Advanced groups, with multiple pace options including Hangout Pace, Hustle Pace, and a Trails Skills Session for beginners. Riders meet in Parking Lot 1 near the baseball fields at the intersection of Maizeland Road and Academy Road, with check-in by 5:45 p.m. and a 6:00 p.m. start time, concluding by 8:00 p.m. The ride operates under a no-drop policy. Participants should bring a mountain bike in safe working condition, a helmet, water, snacks, and sunscreen.
