About the race

The race.

This evening group ride on August 20, 2026, takes place at Pineries Open Space in Colorado Springs, with parking at the trailhead off Vollmer Road. The ride starts at 6:00 p.m. and is scheduled to conclude by 8:00 p.m., with check-in requested by 5:45 p.m. Multiple ride options are available, including Beginner Hangout Pace, Beginner, BegIntermediate Hangout Pace, BegIntermediate, and a Beginners Trail Skills Session. The organizers maintain a no-drop policy. Participants should bring a mountain bike in safe working condition, a helmet, water, snacks, and sunscreen.
