About the race
The race.
On Thursday, August 6, 2026, a group mountain bike ride takes place at Cheyenne Mountain State Park in Colorado Springs. Four ride options are offered: Intermediate Hangout Pace, Intermediate, InterVanced Hangout Pace, and InterVanced. The ride starts at 6:00 p.m. and concludes by 8:00 p.m., with check-in at 5:45 p.m. at the main parking lot. Riders should bring a mountain bike in working condition, helmet, water, snacks, and sunscreen. A daily parking pass is required unless you have an annual Keep Colorado Wild pass; carpooling is an option. The group operates under a no-drop policy.
