About the race
The race.
The Bedford Veterans Center hosts a 5K run/walk and 1-mile walk on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in Temperance, MI. The 5K begins at 6:30 p.m. and the 1-mile walk at 6:35 p.m., both starting and finishing at Bedford Community Stadium (8285 Jackman Rd). The 5K course traverses Indian Creek Park on gravel with no street crossings; the 1-mile walk takes place on the stadium track. Early packet pickup is available Tuesday, June 23rd from 4–6 p.m. at Bedford Veterans Center (8020 Lewis Ave), with race-day pickup from 5:00–6:25 p.m. at the stadium. Guaranteed race shirts require registration by June 10th. The 5K is timed with age-group awards, and participants can collect flags on the course for a chance to win prizes. Free registration is available for veterans and active duty members using code USA. Bathroom facilities are available throughout the event.
