Bizz Johnson's Southside Scramble 2026

The race.

Bizz Johnson's Southside Scramble offers three trail race distances in Susanville, California on June 20, 2026. The 22K Dirty Devil's race starts at 7:30 a.m., the 14K Tunnel's Blast at 7:45 a.m., and the 7K Hobo's Special at 8:00 a.m., all beginning and ending at Hobo Camp Day Use Area. The courses use the Bizz Johnson Trail and Southside Trail, with aid stations providing water, electrolyte drink, fruit, and salty snacks. All finishers receive a custom medal and beach towel. Overall awards go to the top three finishers regardless of gender, and age group awards are given for first through third place in 10-year categories. Packet pickup includes a collapsible cup for the cup-less race format.
