Join us for the 4th Annual Blackberry Festival 5K at the Carlisle Blackberry Festival!

The 2026 Blackberry Festival 5K is Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 8:00am in the heart of downtown Carlisle. The race will include an in-person 5K run/walk, Fastest Kid in Town race and virtual option. Our 2026 race will support Nicholas County Carlisle Tourism.

RACE FEATURES:

Awards for Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in 10-year age groups Free race photos Social teams to expand your race experience (Prize for the largest team) 5K run/walk, Fastest Kid in Town and virtual options Food, fun, music and fellowship in heart of the Carlisle Blackberry Festival

FASTEST KID IN TOWN RACES This event is open to all kids 12 and under and is a FREE EVENT. Parents may add on a commemorative shirt for $10. We will have run offs by age (2-12) and then have a final Fastest Kid in Town race with all of the age category winners. Kids will receive a participation medal.

5K AWARDS We will provide awards for the Top 3 M/F Overall Finishers as well as Top 2 M/F in each age group 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

5K ROUTE MAP

PACKET PICKUP: Our packet pickup will be on race morning (Saturday, July 4th) from 6:30-7:45am in downtown Carlisle.
