About the race

The race.

The Boise Front Trail Festival takes place July 31–August 1, 2026, in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, starting and finishing at JR Simplot Lodge. Participants can choose from three events: a Hill Climb on Friday at 6:00 p.m., a 10-mile race on Saturday at 8:00 a.m., and a 5-mile race on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. All finishers in the 5-mile and 10-mile races receive a t-shirt and custom medal; Hill Climb participants receive a medal. Proceeds benefit Ridge to Rivers, supporting trail projects in the Boise Foothills.
