About the race
The race.
The Brooklyn Duathlon takes place June 27, 2026, in Prospect Park, starting at 7:45 a.m. with a 10:15 a.m. cutoff. The duathlon course consists of two 3.34-mile runs and a 13.4-mile bike (4 park loops), with transition at the Lincoln Road entrance. A separate 5K run (3.34 miles) starts at 9:30 a.m. Top-three finishers in each gender receive medals and special awards; all duathlon participants receive finisher medals and training jerseys. Age group awards may be offered based on registration numbers. The event is USA Triathlon sanctioned and requires a USAT license or one-day pass ($15 for duathlon, $5 for 5K). Online registration opens one hour before start time; day-of registration available with late fees. Water and portable restrooms are provided at the venue.
