The Cherohala Challenge on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Vonore, Tennessee, offers four cycling routes: 115 miles, 62 miles (metric century), 45 miles, and 35 miles. All routes begin and finish in Vonore and are fully supported with SAG vehicles, moto support, mechanics, and rest stops. The 115-mile route features 10,350 feet of climbing and includes the Tail of the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway; riders completing it in 7 hours or less receive a Dragon Slayer medal. The metric century covers 62 miles with 3,700 feet of climbing on rolling pavement. All riders receive a custom event T-shirt (with preregistration), a free post-ride meal, and a helmet is required. Packet pickup and late registration occur Friday, June 5, from 5–7 p.m. at Vonore School. Mass starts are 7:00 a.m. for the 115-mile route and 8:30 a.m. for the 35- and 62-mile routes.
