About the race
The race.
The Darien 5K-Run and 1-Mile Walk takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Pear Tree Point Beach in Darien, Connecticut, with all proceeds benefiting Ukraine relief efforts. On-site registration opens at 7:30 a.m., and the 5K run and 1-mile walk start at 8:30 a.m., followed by awards at 9:30 a.m. Participants can pick up bibs and t-shirts on Saturday, June 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Whole Foods in Darien. Entry costs $30 in April, $40 in May, and $50 in June, with registration capped at 300 participants. Finishers receive medals and prizes.
