About the race
The race.
The Devil Dash 5K takes place on June 14, 2026, in Stratford, CT, featuring a 3.11-mile flat route through the Lordship neighborhood and along Short Beach with water views. Proceeds benefit Stratford High School's Cross Country and Track and Field programs. The course remains on open roads; runners must stay on the left side facing traffic with public safety and volunteer support. Water stations are located at the 1.5-mile mark and finish line. Bib pickup is available Wednesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 11 from 2:30–6:30 PM at Stratford High School (245 King Street), or race morning from 7:45–8:30 AM. Three age categories (19 & Under, 20–39, 40 & Over) each award prizes to the top three male and female finishers, with all prizes donated by local businesses. All participants receive a race shirt.
