Fitzgerald's 5K Lager Run & The Nipper Two Kilometer Run 2026

The race.

Fitzgerald's 5K Lager Run and The Nipper 2K take place on June 14, 2026, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. The 5K is a USATF-certified net downhill course along tree-lined streets with a fast track finish; The Nipper 2K is also USATF-certified and net downhill. Both races are open to runners, joggers, walkers, and stroller users of all ages and benefit the Glen Ridge Community Fund. Registration fees start at $35 for the 5K and $25 for the 2K, with options to run both races for $60. All registrants receive a New Balance singlet or cotton T-shirt; 5K finishers in the top 100 receive a commemorative pint glass, and 2K finishers receive a medal. Post-race refreshments include beer, wine, water, watermelon, and pretzels. USATF-NJ members receive a 10% discount on 5K registration.
