About the race
The race.
DC Road Runners hosts a free community mile time trial event in Arlington, VA on June 3, 2026, in celebration of Global Running Day. The event features multiple mile heats with pace guidance available for runners targeting times from 10:00 per mile to sub-5:00 per mile. The formal event begins at 7:00 pm with a warm-up period, and the first heat starts at approximately 7:10 pm. All ages and paces are welcome to participate. Runners are encouraged to arrive early for parking and additional warm-up time. DC Road Runners members are invited to volunteer as pacers.
