Grassy Key Paddle Battle 2026

The race.

The Grassy Key Paddle Battle takes place September 26–27, 2026 at Grassy Flats Beach Club & Resort in Marathon, Florida Keys. On Saturday, September 26, the "Round da Duck" 7-mile distance race starts at 9:00 AM with divisions for SUP 14', SUP 12' & Under, OC1, OC2, and Surfski; entry is $65, awards are at 4:00 PM at Palm Deck, and all racers must exit the water by 1:00 PM. On Sunday, September 27, the SUP Sprint Battle features a 200-meter course (100 meters out to a left shoulder buoy turn, then 100 meters back) with knockout heat racing starting at 9:00 AM; entry is $20, with optional $10 buy-in for cash pot divisions separated by gender. Packet pickup is September 25 at Palm Deck.
