The race.
The GRR Firecracker 5K begins at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Rotary Field in Glastonbury, Connecticut. The 5K course starts and finishes at the field location on Olde Stage Road. Race day registration opens at 7:00 a.m. at the field. Early packet pickup is available Thursday, June 25, from 5–7 p.m., Friday, June 26, from 4–6 p.m., and Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to noon at Fleet Feet Glastonbury on Hebron Avenue. Finishers receive a t-shirt, with supply limited to 150 registered participants. Strollers and bikes are not permitted on the course. Proceeds benefit Friends of Glastonbury Youth.
